Looks like the 2011 Triathlon season has a lot to offer to the Triathlon community. After a disappointing decline in draft-legal races in North America over the past few years it looks like Triathlon is back BIGGER and stronger then ever! After the launch of Ironmans new Olympic distance race series 5150 I was in fear that the excitment of draft legal I.T.U racing would be dead and lost forever in North America.

Over the past few years’ I.T.U draft legal racing had taken a huge hit with the lost of World Cup’s and Contenttal Cup races across North America.

Not anymore!!

Draft legal Triathlon has taken a huge step forward with the return of one best races, The Edmonton I.T.U World Cup and also with the launch of the new U.S.A based draft legal series, The USA Triathlon Elite Race Series This series will consist of 6 full draft legal races across the United States. At this point three of the six races will be part of the International Triathlon Union Continental and Pan American Cup series.
